1966 Morris Mini Cooper S Mk 1.
Island Blue and Old English White with an original equipment cream Webasto sunroof.
This car has been subject to a total ground up nut and bolt restoration to a very high standard during which everything was either completely refurbished or replaced with new parts.
New panels include doors, wings, bonnet, boot, front section, rear valance, flitch panels, sills, boot floor and interior floor. The interior upholstery is new and includes original specification front reclining seats (original non recliners also included). The engine and gearbox were completely rebuilt and virtually all ancillaries (master cylinders etc.) renewed. The original specification optional second fuel tank is fitted as is the carpeted "false floor" covering the spare wheel in the boot.
The car comes with its original equipment (and very rare) 3. 5" S steel wheels fitted with "remade" Dunlop SP Sport aquajet tyres as fitted to the car when new. A full set of new genuine Minilite alloy wheels and Yokohama tyres is also available at extra cost. A Heritage Certificate confirming the matching numbers is included in a comprehensive history file which includes MOTs back to 1970, a bill of sale from 1969, the original green 'buff' logbook and the Cooper owners handbook.
This vehicle is in beautiful condition and is probably one of the best genuine Mk1 Cooper S's available.
