We are delighted to present for sale this “Stealth Spec” Land Rover® 90, finished in textured Raptor Black Paint. This fantastic machine which offers a modern driving experience without electronics will soon benefit from both MOT & Road Tax Exemptions in 2026 too – when one considers this is a car with Disc brakes, power steering, coil springs, five speed gearbox and modern turbo diesel power – this is a very attractive prospect indeed.
Externally, we really think this 90 looks great – textured paint, in an “all blacked out” style with larger door mirrors, rock sliders, mud flaps, LED lights (reversing light too on reverse of gearbox), wide wheel and arch set, swingaway wheel carrier, heritage grill with metallic badging, and a height adjustable towball and electrics to allow universal towing. It really does look fantastic as the photos show.
On the inside, there are two lovely high back front seats, along with floor matting. There’s a seat belt bar and inertia belts too so it’s nice getting buckled in! The central cubby box is handy for keeping items out of sight – the centre dash has been uprated to include a bluetooth stereo which can play your tunes and road directions, as well as charge phones – extra cigarette lighters are provided for charging various devices, or any other device. The added switchgear is a nice touch too. The dash top is in nice order too – so the interior is quite a nice place to be considering the age of this 90. There are winding windows that work – which we like – no eletrics to go wrong – (like the engine!). The rear houses a bench seat set for those extra passengers on the way to the beach!
The real attraction here though is the driving experience – in two years time, this vehicle won’t cost you anything in road tax and doesn’t need an MOT either – and when one considers the fact you’ve no complicated electronics, whilst having the creature comforts you’d want – such as power steering, disc brakes, coil springs, five speed all synchro gearbox, highback seats, USB charging and bluetooth stereo – this is a massively attractive proposition. It drives without fault, and we will put 12 months MOT without charge for the new keeper.
In summary, if you are looking for a Classic Land Rover® which is capable of doing just about any task, without complicated ECU’s and the issues they cause, which will also not hurt your pocket as it already benefits from classic insurances and soon MOT & Tax exemption, then this could be for you.
