Ready to work or show, a fine Ford, direct from a private collection and only available due to a downscale forced by ill health, it really is a nice tractor, very well presented and mechanically spot on with everything working as it should, road registered with current logbook, drive it away today.
It was first registered in June 1982 and its showing 6211 hours on the clock (unconfirmed), it starts instantly hot or cold, runs very well, steady at road speed with no wander or wag of the wheel, no breathing or oil spitting from the dip stick when running (see video), effortless power steering, good brakes and handbrake, lift arms working smoothly, has pick up hitch that works easily with without wrestling the lever into submission, PTO selects and stops, all the gears in every range work on the easy to use dash mounted twin gear sticks, the lift arm balls and a PTO cover are in the cab.
Nearly all of the lights are working with one headlight out, dash clocks and warning lights work, there is cab heater fitted and the blower fan works, also a working overhead stereo. The cab is very tidy, good mats, good headlining, good seat and good side padding. Tyres all have plenty of tread with no slows or leaks, the rears are very recently fitted new BTK’s that still have pips on. The rear window opens up on the stays and the side windows open, both doors click shut and are rattle free, see the video of it being driven across a field.
There is no wiper arm fitted and we haven’t tried the motor, but apart from that we cant really see anything else needing attention, most unusual on a classic tractor, the underside looks dry with no gushing leaks or drips and the cab footplate’s are solid.
Overall, a very nice tractor in great condition, it would go straight to work or back into collection for shows and rallies, Ford prices are still rising, these machines are better than money in the bank.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
