Triumph TR4 in very good condition. Delivered new in the USA and taken back by the only Dutch owner. Very nice car and excellent for rallying or touring. The TR4 is the ideal car if you are looking for a classic car that is fun to drive without too much expense. It was a real sports car around 1961 with its 2-litre 100 bhp engine. It's also a reliable collector's car and the parts supply is excellent.
The exterior is very cool, the car has been repainted in the beautiful TR4 colour 'Signal Red' and the paintwork looks great. There are virtually no signs of use and the paintwork is very glossy. The alloy wheels are painted black and have a chrome centre nut. The soft top has recently been refurbished, so it closes perfectly. This is a lovely well maintained TR4, the interior is very well maintained, the dashboard is nice and all the gauges work as they should. The seats have recently been reupholstered and covered in black artificial leather. The classic wooden steering wheel also looks good and feels good in the hand. This TR4 always starts immediately and drives very well. The engine has plenty of power and the gearbox shifts as it should. We've just measured the compression and it's above average.
