The TD-Series Midget was the first MG sports car to feature independent double wishbone front suspension, rack and pinion steering and twin leading-shoe front brakes
Powered by the proven 1, 250cc XPAG engine with a 4-speed manual transmission, it was reputedly capable of 82mph and 26mpg
This smart example is finished in Woodland Green with Apple Green leather and a black hood
Restored to a superb useable level in recent years after being purchased as a rolling project in 2016
The rebuild involved all panels being removed and refinished as required, an engine rebuild and a full rewire
Previously retrimmed to a good level
Currently residing in the Isle of Man prior to returning to the UK for our sale
Reportedly running and driving well but with little use in recent years minor recommissioning may be required
Previously registered on mainland UK but will require re-registering by the new custodian as currently registered on the Isle of Man
