Motors Corner is pleased to offer you an exclusive presentation of this extremely rare 1967 400 GT Spyder Convertible. History: This particular model (chassis 01267 and engine 1439) was delivered new in Milan on 11 June 1967. It was one of two Spyder conversions built in 1990 on a 400 GT base to higher than factory standards, to complete the very exclusive list of three 350 GT Spyder models built between 1964 and 1982, bringing the total to five exceptionally rare GT Spyders in the world.
In 1999, it took part in the Concorso Italiano, and was subsequently presented at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and at the 50th Anniversary of Lamborghini in Italy. Mechanical condition: Its original 4. 0-litre V12 engine, with six Weber carburettors giving it a beautiful sound, develops 320 bhp and starts effortlessly, offering performance equal to that from the factory. The transmission, consisting of a Lamborghini gearbox and differential, responds precisely, providing compliant gear changes. Interior condition: The interior of this GT Spyder is in perfect condition thanks to the fact that it was refreshed in 2010. The Nardi steering wheel, dashboard, beige leather seats and Wilton wool carpet are all in excellent condition, reflecting the care taken to ensure rigorous maintenance. The signature of Fabio Lamborghini, heir to the iconic brand, lends a touch of authenticity and precious family heritage to the vehicle. Exterior condition: In concours condition the bodywork of this Lamborghini 400 GT is remarkable, the car has created a sensation at numerous concours d'élégance. All the car's alignments are perfect.
