Few marques have achieved so fine a competition record in so short a time as the Italian firm of Mondial, whose motorcycles were also manufactured under license in Spain by Construcciones Mecánicas Españolas, SA (COMESA) from 1956 to 1962. There are no documents with this Spanish-built Mondial 175, the history of which is unknown.
