However, those who already owned an Aston Martin were to be given priority. The Cygnet was Aston Martin's first and so far only subcompact car. Technically, it was based on the Toyota iQ. This Aston Martin Cygnet was first registered at Aston Martin Düsseldorf in 2012 and was purchased shortly afterwards by a good Aston Martin customer for his wife.
