F550 FORD SNIPER Armoured Vehicle PROTOTYPE No. 1 ..
This is the prototype (the first of its kind) that appeared in the movie Fast Five.
The Gurkha F5 (later renamed F-550 FORD SNIPER) was originally developed in 2005 by Armet Armored Vehicles, and is now produced by Terradyne Armored Vehicles .
By 2009, there were only two snipers produced with different vehicle configurations.
This RPV version of SNIPER was built in 2009 on a Ford F-550 Super Duty 4 Wheel Drive Platform and has a V8 6. 7L Engine with 400 horsepower. Weighing in at around 7 tons (with a 5 ton towing capacity), this armoured multipurpose vehicle comes loaded with all the tactical and combat features one would expect from an armoured work-horse.
Built to B7 STANAG 2 specification.
This one-off prototype was hand built with hundreds hours invested over 18 months to fabricate and achieve this custom F-550 FORD SNIPER armoured vehicle. It is super fun to drive, easy to handle and intimidating to look at. Imagine driving a tank with power steering and when you put your foot down, you feel the blast of torque and power as the turbo kicks-in from this powerful V8 6. 7L engine.
In 2017, the second sister vehicle produced , driven by Dwayne Johnson in Fast Five was sold for 699, 000 (USD) with no rear door and less functions that are offered in this sale with this first of its kind vehicle.
This F-550 FORD SNIPER is still virtually brand new with all original Ford badges, labels and tags. With 1, 600 km on the odometer, this turn key purchase is ready to drive and take delivery.
Currently located in the UK, European duties paid, and on an Australian Registration title, it can be UK registered if required, or exported worldwide ..
