Descripción
This Facellia is very special because it's a prototype.
It is the only Facellia with an original Volvo B16 engine and a bonnet that opens at the front.
The Volvo engine was connected to a Pont A Mouson and the chassis number is FA A119.
The car is fitted with protruding handles and megalux headlights not seen on others before 1961. The steering wheel is also a prototype.
The prototype car was previously known as the FA type A404, then became the A119 when the number plate was issued.
CEO Jean Daninos and Jaques Persin personally visited VOLVO Götenborg in this car on the 13th and met Volvo boss Gunnar Engeliau and tested the car. The first Facellia series consisted of two-seater convertibles, and this 3-seater coupe fell somewhere in between.
It was the first coupe of all Facellias. The car remained in the factory for 4 to 5 years until bankruptcy. The car has recently been registered in the Facel Vega register in France for 1 year, but the car has already been lost. The car has an original Carte Grise with first edition of 14-05-1960. The Carte Grise is known to the French road service. The car has a very briefly completed registration certificate, which also indicates a prototype. The engine was overhauled two years ago. The full story can be read in the Facel Vega book. tel the details below
