Delivered new in France in December 1968 and registered in January 1969, it has had only 3 previous owners. This is the 20th Espada to be produced, as evidenced by the body number assigned to it when it was built at the Bertone factory. It is the rarest Espada model... the famous first series with the rear grille fitted only on the first 20 models.
For a long time, it was owned by an enthusiast in Meurthe et Moselle, before a major Parisian Lamborghini collector, looking for a first-series Espada fitted with the famous metal rear grille, acquired the car. The bodywork was entirely restored by Etablissements Martin in Damery (France) to meet the collector's requirements.
The car was completely dismantled, stripped bare, the rocker panels and wings rebuilt, and the original black interior, with its beautiful patina, was simply cleaned and treated. Following this body restoration, "Automobiles TS Paris 8ème", the famous French Lamborghini Classic specialist, took care of the mechanics.
This Espada runs divinely, installed in its deliciously patinated interior, it is a real pleasure to drive.
