This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show 2025 on Saturday the 22nd of March - Sunday the 23rd of March, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
Built in 1971, this fabulous car was later imported from Italy into the UK in 1999 and registered to our vendor on 8th June as a surprise for his wife
On a visit with his wife to Pescara, Italy our vendor met a gentleman with a Fiat garage, who showed him this fabulous Tributo
Formerly used as a hill climber, improvements were fitted to performance primarily engine cooling such as side air intakes, rear vents on the boot lid and oil cooling pipes
Sporting rare Abarth parts such as dash board, various gauges, sump pan, seats and some incredibly rare split rims
The owner was unwilling to sell the car at the time, but in 1999 the car was secretly bought and driven back to the UK as a surprise for our vendor’s wife
Naturally kept in superb order, the car comes with an odometer reading of some 24, 200 kilometres
