This beautiful MGB Roadster, finished in Tartan Red with a white works-style hardtop, has been meticulously rebuilt and upgraded for competition. The restoration spanned three years and cost in excess of £25, 000, with only 10, 000 miles covered since completion.
Restoration & Mechanical Work
All external panels replaced: doors, bonnet, boot, front wings, plus remedial work to sills & floors.
Engine upgrades: Gas-flowed Oselli cylinder head, Piper 717 camshaft, balanced crankshaft & flywheel, Weber 45 carburettor – delivering an impressive 130bhp.
Blue-plated engine build for durability.
Overdrive gearbox fitted.
Competition Specification
Sebring front valance & period works-style hardtop.
MOS independent front suspension setup.
All suspension components replaced: discs, uprights, hubs.
FIA-spec roll cage, fire extinguisher, Cobra racing bucket seats, full safety harness, and exterior ignition isolation switch.
15-inch alloy wheels with Yokohama S306 tyres.
