Beskrivning
This rather rare Genuine V8 3. 5 petrol Land Rover One Ten was supplied on 1st April 1987 to the MOD at Boscombe Down where it stayed until 2012 (25 years). At this stage it had done around 77, 000 miles and was sold off to the Kingsbridge area in Devon where it stayed until I brought it back to Berkshire.
Up to date V5 ready to go in new owners name.
Long MOT until 1st April 2026
2 sets of keys.
Good history file dating back to the year 2000.
Now showing only 90, 110 miles believed genuine as there are MOTs going back to 2000 to back this up.
I am not sure what the Land Rover was used for at Boscombe Down but it was ordered from Anna Valley Motors in Salisbury in a civilian spec of Slate Grey with a 3. 5 V8 engine, power steering and an ammeter!
It still has its original engine no 24G00578 which starts and runs well and maintains a steady temperature at all times.
The gearbox works well and synchromesh is good on all gears.
The chassis has had welding over the years incl a new rear cross member which is in good order.
The bulkhead had had the drivers footwell repaired recently and is solid.
Paintwork is faded with various small dents and scrapes which I think add to its charm.
Good matching General Grabber tyres all round with plenty of tread.
It goes and stops well, the steering is lovely and light due to the power steering.
It will be a very useful tool for lugging logs, kids and dogs around the countryside with a lovely V8 burble!
Ready to be used immediately it can be improved over time if you want to.
To find a genuine V8 One Ten is rather unusual as they were usually specified as diesels and not many survivce due to being abused and overloaded as commercial/ farm vehicles.
Chassis number visible in front dumb iron so no problem for USA export if you wish.
