1983 Volkswagen T25 Camper Van
CI Kamper (Caravans International) factory conversion from new.
Recently imported by ourselves from South Africa.
Most UK vans of this vintage have seen rust and repair panels of varying quality. This van is all original, never been welded and completely rust free and solid on the undersides - the reason we import from a dry inland climate.
Mechanically it runs an upgraded 1. 9 litre 5 cylinder VW/ Audi petrol engine that gives plenty of power with good performance, reliability and economy. This conversion popular in South Africa to accommodate the extra height of the 1. 9 engine means that the bed sits higher than normal so it is not a travel seat and hence a 2 berth van only.
The conversion is the classic layout of units down one side with fold out bed from rear.
Elevating roof gives extra standing room height.
Side canopy awning for shade protection.
240v electric hook up and leisure battery facility
Large fridge, single burner counter top cooker but no sink.
Recently serviced and brakes renewed all round, checked over by VW specialist prior to sale
