Description

Dented parts (with the age of the 'driver', parking manoeuvres were often carried out 'with a sound'! The upholstery, which had been much appreciated by various 4-legged tenants, needed to be completely refurbished. The soft top, seals, lights and heating elements were replaced. A complete paint job gave it back its original dapper look. The mechanics also underwent a facelift. The engine has been completely overhauled, the carburettor and clutch replaced and an electronic ignition fitted. The shock absorbers, brakes (linings, pads, pipes, cylinders, master cylinder) and running gear have been refurbished. A full restoration file (description of operations and parts used) is supplied with the car. To complete the restoration, 4 new wheels and tyres have been fitted. The car has an FFVE certificate allowing it to be registered as a classic car.
