The last of the Giulietta spider series, this model is one of only 800 produced in this finish in 1965. The serial number is AR392468 and its history since importation is well known. This beautiful spider was imported in 1983 by a Giulietta enthusiast who has kept it for 40 years; during this period a complete engine restoration in 2007 and bodywork in 2011 were carried out (file of invoices supplied). This car is equipped with a 1600 cc engine with electronic ignition, 2 double-barrel weber 40 carburettors, a 5-speed gearbox and 2 front disc brakes.
It was the subject of an article alongside its rival the Porsche 356 in RETROVISEUR magazine in June 2013 (included in the car's file). In 2024 the current owner carried out additional work: new exhaust system, fitting of 4 adjustable KONI shock absorbers.
The upholstery is new, black with red piping (in line with the original upholstery) as is the complete set of carpets; a tonneau cover has been made from black waterproof alpaca fabric. The car was valued for insurance purposes in October 2024 and all the supporting invoices and photos are provided. This is an exceptional vehicle.
