The 4. 2-S Special-Edition models unveiled at the 2005 Geneva International marked another advance for the Jaguar XK
Available as either a Coupé or Convertible, with a choice of two V8 engines – one of them supercharged, just 200 examples were built
They were offered in four new limited edition exterior colours, three interior colours, with two veneer options, all fitted with 20" BBS Perseus split-rim alloy wheels, with Brembo brakes on the supercharged car
In recognition of Jaguar's racing heritage, the cars featured special badging and accents, polished door treadplates with chequered flag emblems and leather-edged embossed floor mats line the footwells
Now in white, the Jaguar 'Growler' badge on the bonnet also displayed new chequered flag accents on the sides of the emblem
Supplied new by Jaguar Ayr in 2005, this is an 'S' and is finished in Satin Silver over an Ivory leather interior with Elmwood veneers
The registration number JW 55 XKR will remain assigned to the vehicle and does form part of the sale
With just over 53, 000 miles, this is a fine example of this rare and very limited edition XKR–S
