The car shown here is typical of British kit cars. In its early days, NEL199M was a 3-litre Ford Capri. In true British tradition, in the 1980s it was used as an organ donor to assemble this Marcos Mantula using a factory kit. This was the assembly recommended by Marcos. Since then, it has undergone an impressive restoration (zinc-plated chassis, new alternator, stainless steel exhaust, leather interior, bespoke dashboard, full paintwork) by a British enthusiast between 2002 and 2008, which makes it unique.
