HISTORY:
On sale from Bruce Greetham Classic Benz is one of the best R129s I have ever been involved with.
A local car to me from 2017, it was purchased by the current owner in 2019 with a view to developing and cherishing its beauty on the concours scene.
Under my guidance, he has spent five years bringing this car up to concours standard and it has become an across-the-board concours winner.
He has enjoyed this car no end, throughout the journey of preparing, showing and using this now quite exquisite vehicle.
A six-previous-owner car showing only 55, 000 miles, it is probably now in better shape than it was when only two years old. It has never missed a service.
Last service was with me in May 2024 with fluids, waxoyl, and a new air mass sensor fitted.
This SL looks amazing: not a single mark to the body, and a perfectly-fitting original brown soft top which complements the Smoke Silver bodywork very nicely.
The interior is just as good, with everything looking factory fresh. The over-mats look as if no one has ever put a foot on them.
Driving this R129 SL today is like driving out of the showroom back in 1998, when models of this quality where very expensive.
And, this being one of the very last straight-six engined R129s, you can also feel the quality in the torque, power and smooth responsiveness from the SL320’s engine.
With a fully-documented history, spare keys, manuals and leather wallet, this R129 requires for nothing.
It is a credit to the owner; something that can be enjoyed for any journey, touring, showing, or just commuting to work.
Not many R129s are this good from this period but this one is a one off.

If you have been searching high and low for a truly excellent R129 SL320 and have now come across this one, you will certainly not let it go once you’ve seen it, driven it and realise how good it is.
