The MGB is a hugely popular collector's car, and for good reason. Not only because of the elegant design of this attractive roadster, but also because of its exceptional ease of use. Easy to drive, it guarantees exceptional driving pleasure. And that goes for this MGB Roadster, produced in 1969. Originally delivered in the United States, it was painted in British Racing Green. This MGB has been in the Netherlands since 1998 and has had several owners, the last for over 17 years. It has of course benefited from regular maintenance, as shown by the various service invoices and the logbook. The result is an impeccable MGB that's a pleasure to drive, with a body that's in perfect condition and very well cared for indeed. The red colour retains a deep, elegant shine, and a few traces of wear are visible in various places. The body components fit together perfectly and the various seals and rubbers are still in good condition. The chrome is no longer in perfect condition, but is still particularly beautiful. The elegant chrome wheels are still in good condition and match the red bodywork perfectly. The same goes for the magnificent chrome luggage rack. The soft top is still in very good condition, as is the interior. The black leatherette seats are particularly comfortable and in good condition. The black carpet is also in impeccable condition. The various chromes and trims are well cared for, as is the dashboard. The dashboard shows a few signs of use, but is clean and well maintained. The leather steering wheel is pleasant and firm in the hand, and the car drives and shifts particularly well. The engine runs smoothly and quietly, and the brakes work perfectly. The owner has ordered a 123 ignition, which has not yet been fitted. The oil cooler provides extra cooling and optimum running reliability. This MGB drives particularly well and smoothly.
