The Volkswagen T2 'Bay Window' is what many think of as the archetypal camper van.
The car:
This original, UK-supplied 1979 Volkswagen T2 'bay window' camper van was first registered on 08/ 08/ 1979 and has been superbly restored.
Coming from seven years current ownership, with just 50, 000 miles indicated and with an MOT valid until March 2026.
Affectionately known as 'Florence' and rather distinctively presented in Cloud White over Bright Orange with a matching interior.
This camper is accompanied with a trailer that expands into a full awning and leisure seating. The van's interior was redesigned and retrimmed in 2018 and now makes really clever use of space, hob, fridge, sink, sockets, music system, storage, Sat Nav, kettle and all. Plumbed in engine-bay fire extinguisher for added safety and a good history file with 23 old MOT certificates, old tax discs and a ream of invoices for parts and works completed during the restoration.
