1981 Leyland Mini Van - RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid and NOVA declaration done. we will assist the new owner with the UK reg paperwork. Fitted with a 1275 engine it starts runs and drives. It will need work cosmetically as the colour isnt the best.
Body - looks solid underneath, but a little bruised from inappropriate use of a jack. Sills look solid as does the floors, Bit of bubbling on bottom of passenger door. Seam between wing and scuttles has been Filled. Paintwork is pretty average at best. Looks to have been done a long time ago. Its a metallic purple colour and really needs to be a period colour. Needs wheel arch spats to cover wide wheels or change wheels. Brightwork looks very tired. Drivers door handle broken on the outside.
Mechanics - 1275 engine. It starts no problem, pulls well through the gears. No smoke or rattles. No crunching from the gearbox. Brakes are good. Feels quite tight when driving it to be fair. Definitely drives better than it looks.
Interior - Uprated seats, dash, gauges, doorcards. Reasonably tidy inside to be fair. Someone has thrown a few quid at it in the past.
Wheels - Wide 10" alloys with decent tyres.
