Jaguar XJR from the magnificent X350 series, fitted with a certified odometer with report and all service books. Purchased new from Kimman by the current owner's father and now for sale on consignment. This XJR has the great advantage of having been fitted with an engine replaced at 191, 100 km, meaning that the engine has only covered 42, 400 km. The automatic gearbox was replaced in 2006 at 79, 500 km and updated with new software in 2014. All servicing has been carried out at Kimman. The X350 has an aluminium chassis and is much lighter and more rigid than most of its competitors. It is therefore technically advanced, while retaining its classic good looks. It was the last XJ with a clearly recognisable design, first seen in 1969 with the XJ6. Thanks to its parent company, Ford, the build quality is much better than that of previous models, and the exterior is very handsome, with almost all the paintwork original. No past damage, but of course, after 21 years, there are a few signs of use. The original XJR 19" wheels are still very nice, with only a few traces of use. There is a small stain near the rear door and a scratch on the bumper. The interior is remarkably beautiful and very well maintained. Everything looks as good as new, the dashboard isn't dried out and the headliner is tight. The spacious rear bench features a central armrest with radio control and an electric sun visor. This XJR drives beautifully, the engine is as smooth as silk and produces a magnificent sound. And if necessary, it can reach incredible speeds thanks to its 400 bhp and 553 Nm of torque. The gearbox shifts quickly and quietly, and the differential is very quiet. As you know, Jaguar has an excellent reputation for comfort and handling, which you'll notice during the test drive. It's quiet, yet sporty and incredibly quick. Technically, it's an excellent car, far better than many of its German rivals. Who would have thought?
