Sold new by Rex Jud, original dealer badge is in a packet with the paperwork.
The bike was bought by Ron Hulls late father in the north of England long ago, possibly in the 1960's. The bike passed to Ron, he used it a lot, Norwegian? Rally pic of it in the old Brough club journal included in the paperwork. Eric Paterson bought the bike from Ron in 2011, sold it to Mark Upham (owner of B. S. motorcycles) I spannered it for Mark and we used it as a loan bike for journalists at a few events. Paul D'orkeans (thevintagent) used it for the week at wheels and waves some time 2015 ish?? He produced some nice articles online and a couple in magazines for it, you should find these looking through his stuff online. Mark sold it to Henry. who featured in a Sunday paper with it, used it as a poster bike, we did a couple of features with it, one we'll produced BS feature for the motorbike show.
I bought it from Henry in 2019 and improved it with a nice old chrome tank, a nice show model H52 series headlight, a karslake type side stand, a good service and various other details to correct some incorrectness, nuts and bolts etc. I used it occasionally as a kind of "Sunday best" bike
