VW 1302 all original, nothing restored!
What a gem this VW Beetle is! This classic car is still completely original and has never been restored. The interior is still just as clean and immaculate, a true rarity nowadays. You might consider a restoration, but remember that a car is original only once.
This Beetle was delivered new in Germany and still has its German papers. The odometer shows only 5, 600 km and the oil-change cards also indicate mileage below 5, 000 km. That seems almost credible! The wheel arches remain in their original red colour and have never been treated with underbody protection. Inside, the car is like new, and outside, apart from a few small scratches, it is also in excellent condition. The right front wing has been repainted at some point, but other than that, this Beetle is in an intact original state.
To simplify, let’s suppose it has done 105, 000 km, but it’s highly likely it hasn’t done much more. The colour is a beautiful deep red, officially L31H Iberian Red, and it looks superb in the sun.
As for documentation, everything is included: the original user manual and even old inspection reports. This Beetle was ordered with a metal sunroof, which still works perfectly, and it is fitted with an original Blaupunkt radio, a nice detail.
If you’re looking for a car that could easily last another 50 years, this could be the perfect Beetle for you. As mentioned, restoration is always an option, but it will never match the originality of this one.
