Description
Stunning 1966 Volvo P1800S, imported in 2022 from Los Angeles, California. The American owner had the car since 1969, and since 2022 this white sporty coupe is in the Netherlands. Recently rediscovered as a barn-find, accompanied by two other P1800s. The three are seeking a new owner (see last photo).
Import duties and taxes have been paid. The import documentation is complete.
The elegant, sculpted coupe shows virtually no welding work, the most notable issue being a small area inside the rear wing. Otherwise, it is solid in the known spots. Thus, no unnecessary, high-cost bodywork. The visible brown colour is surface rust and a coat of primer. The lovely white shade pairs perfectly with the bright red interior. Preserving the patina and restoring the Volvo P1800S only on the technical side could be a possibility.
In summary, a perfect restoration base for anyone looking to bring one back to life, or add a P1800S to their collection.
With matching numbers and original mileage of 81, 478 miles.
Did you know that Roger Moore's P1800S was also a white 1966 Volvo P1800 S, which he personally owned and used in the British television series The Saint?
The car is in the Netherlands and can be visited there.
