EXTERIOR
The iconic 4. 0 RS is fast becoming the most collectable modern 911 with it’s limited number and supreme driver involvement. Finished in a smooth and mirror finish coat of solid A1 black this 911 with its aerodynamic upgrades, inclusive flics at the front and a larger spoiler at the rear creates a stable car at high speeds giving confidence to any driver. The downforce is a critical attribute to driving characteristics along with hydraulic steering, no rear steer and a race derived engine in its biggest cubic capacity, it is no surprise the limited numbered 4. 0 is the pinnacle of modern Porsches for both a driver and the collector.
Overall the car presents beautifully with only a very light dusting of stone chips to note across the front bumper. Factory PPF is present on the rear arches which helps with those unwanted stone chips on an area of the car very prone to them.
INTERIOR
Specified with a combination of leather, alcantara and carbon fibre the cabin of this GT3 RS exudes a purposeful track edge but with a hint of luxury.
An open carbon fibre centre console is part of the high carbon options specified on this example. The cabin shows in superb condition, free from any signs of excessive wear across the bucket seats, steering wheel and carpets.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
True to form the RS engine fires into life and settles with a familiar rattle coming from the lightweight flywheel. Paired to an exquisite 6-Speed manual gearbox the 997 is definitely the purists choice, with a level of driver engagement eons ahead of its contemporaries and never to be repeated again.
Recently serviced at Brooklands Porsche Centre on 17/ 07/ 2023 at 14, 043 miles, the engine is in great order and ready to be enjoyed. It has spent near its whole life under Porsche warranty which can be added and extended should it be required.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The lightweight centre lock designed wheels are in perfect unmarked condition with a wonderful black finish perfectly matching the striking black body work on the car. All four wheels sit on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres with plenty of tread left on them.
The large Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes are in perfect order and provide unparalleled stopping power without fading in even the toughest of conditions.
HISTORY FILE
This C05 French example was first delivered on the 01/ 03/ 2012, It spent a short time in Europe before being imported into the UK in 2014 where it has resided with just one UK owner.
The rare black example has been solely serviced by Porsche with a documented record of its time in the UK, completing four service visits to the OPCs here, the last of which carried out by Official Porsche Centre Brooklands on 26/ 07/ 2023 at 14, 043 miles.
Always under warranty from new till 2022 (Renewal possible) it has had everything its ever needed.
The original owners books and leather wallet, MOT certificates, service invoices and a V5.
