Description
Built from 1978 to 1983, the 280ZX was awarded in 1979 by Motor Trend magazine as the “Import Car of the Year” in 1979. It was available in three versions: a bare two-seat coupé, with a 2+2 configuration, and a Targa. The model we present was built in 1982 with a 2+2 Targa body and belonged to Gigi Barp, head of Ferrari Classiche, who had it restored about 15 years ago at Carrozzeria Zanasi in Maranello. A demanding restoration, with no expense spared, featuring a completely new body, interior and mechanics. It is powered by a 6‑cylinder, 2800 cc engine and a 5‑speed manual gearbox.
Complete with Italian registration plates and papers, ASI.
