Paul Kiesewetter, 90, from Bergen, in southern Bavaria, wanted to fulfil his dream of buying an NSU RO 80. Paul had worked for many years in a management position at VW and had driven an RO 80 as his company car for a long time. His main requirement was that it had to be absolutely perfect in every way. For a top-of-the-range model, he was willing to part with his beloved 1991 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe 4. 9. We had the NSU he was looking for. After many emails and photos, he was convinced that this was the one. He decided to buy it, but he wouldn't come and collect it himself. He wanted us to bring it to him, and then he could take the Cadillac back with him. So we loaded the NSU onto the trailer and drove 900 km to deliver the car to Paul and his lovely wife.
Paul's Cadillac was not only beautiful but also a truly top-notch example in unique condition and superbly maintained. This rare Eldorado coupe is one of the last series with the 4. 9-litre V8 200 hp, an original new German-delivered model with European specifications, pearlescent white and black leather interior, all options including the rare electric glass tilt/ slide roof. According to the invoices, Paul invested considerably in the Cadillac in 2024. It is fantastic to see that the Cadillac is still completely in its original paintwork and absolutely damage-free. The low documented mileage is 106, 170 km. The quality of this Cadillac can best be described as collection worthy, and it has German registration papers.
