Description
Mathis EMY4S Dynamic as a four-door limousine. Between 1910 and 1954, the Strasbourg-based Mathis company produced automobiles and aircraft engines with notable success. At times it was France’s fourth-largest car company. In 1954, it was sold to the company Citroën. For the car on offer here, the original purchase contract from 1934 still exists. The first owner remained faithful to his Mathis up to around 1972. The engine was overhauled in 2016 (invoice available). It starts and runs well. The gearbox shifts cleanly. Lighting, brakes and gauges work. The car was repainted very well; today there are only light signs of use again. The Michelin tyres are near‑new. The interior is used but in good condition. There is plenty of room for four occupants. At the rear there is a boot with an extra tool compartment. An interesting, rarely offered pre‑war classic. The car comes with Dutch vehicle papers. A viewing is gladly possible by appointment. More classics in stock.
