Description
Created by Richard Oakes of ADD, the NOVA was a futuristic 1970s kit car. Based on the Beetle chassis from which its main mechanical components are derived, thanks to the overall lightness it still managed to be a car enjoyable on a sporting level. The project was sold in several countries and this is one of the very rare PUMA models produced in Rome on via Tiburtina by Adriano Gatto, who also built the famous red and yellow Buggy of Bud Spencer; Terence Hill in “Altrimenti ci arrabbiamo”. In this evolution the quiet VW engine was replaced by a more powerful Alfa Romeo Boxer taken from the model “33” with power up to 110 bhp. The car is in excellent condition, recently serviced, always kept in a garage and registered as a historic vehicle by ASI.
