The first American supercar of the modern era, combining 7-litres of American V8 power with Championship winning British chassis design from Ray Mallock Ltd. and advanced aerodynamics from Phil Frank. Chassis 015-R was one of the early S7-R examples built for endurance racing and GT competition.
Delivered new to Graham Nash Motorsport, competing in the 2002 Daytona 24 Hours and Sebring 12 Hours before dominating the 2002 British GT Championship, securing multiple pole positions and finishing 1st or 2nd in every race of the season bar one, to convincingly win Ian McKellar and Thomas Erdos the 2002 British GT Championship.
Campaigned extensively between 2003 and 2006 in FIA GT, ALMS, and LMES, 015-R raced at many of the world’s leading circuits, including Spa, Monza, Silverstone, Sebring, Daytona, Nurburgring and Imola, with strong showings against the Prodrive Ferrari 550’s, Lister Storm’s, and Chrysler Viper rivals.
After retirement from period racing in 2006, 015-R was fully restored in 2018 to its 2003 FIA GT livery. Since then, it has been actively campaigned in historic racing, including Le Mans Classic, Spa Classic, Estoril Classics, and Dix Mille Tours, taking podiums on numerous occasions.
Boasting a strong period history that includes multiple victories and the 2002 British GT Championship, combined with its recent well proven and competitive performance in historic racing; this offers a rare opportunity to compete at the forefront of prestigious meetings such as Le Mans Classic, Peter Auto’s Endurance Racing Legends, or in the US at Daytona and Sebring in historic events with HSR.
