Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 chassis number 8925 is a sought-after two-headlight Series II model introduced in mid-1965 and produced in just 474 examples. Completed in October 1966, it was delivered new through Lombardi Gustavo in Napoli, Italy, elegantly specified in Azzurro paintwork over a Beige leather interior. Its accompanying history file resumes in 1975, when it was registered by William S. Knox of San Jose, California, who kept the car through 1984, after which it passed to Lucien I. Thomas, also in California.

In September 1986, the Ferrari appeared in the Ferrari Market Letter, offered for sale by Thomas and finished at the time in Rosso Rubino. Subsequent registration and service records show ownership in the United Kingdom under Joseph Hall of Surrey, where it wore the personalized number plate "330 JOE" and had covered over 67, 000 kilometers by 1989. By 1996, the car was offered through Talacrest Ferrari before entering Belgian ownership that same year with Danny Deraymaeker of Tremelo, registered as "GEB 474," and actively enjoyed in Belgian Ferrari Club activities through the late 1990s.

Purchased by the current owner in January 2001 with 87, 500 kilometers displayed, chassis 8925 subsequently underwent a full engine rebuild shortly after acquisition and has since benefited from routine care by the respected specialists at Gipimotor. Most notably, it received Ferrari Classiche certification in 2020, confirming that its chassis, body, engine, transmission, and differential are the original, matching-numbers components.

Offered from nearly 25 years of devoted common ownership, this desirable two-headlight Series II now shows 99, 021 kilometers at cataloging and is presented as a wonderfully documented, fully matching-numbers example of Ferrari's quietly sophisticated 2+2-long reputedly favored by Enzo Ferrari for his own daily transportation to and from the factory.
