Description
The Maserati 125/ T2 (Tipo 125/ T2) is a vintage, lightweight two-stroke motorcycle produced by the Fabbrica Candele e Accumulatori Maserati subsidiary in Italy during the 1950s. It is a rare collector's item today, as Maserati only manufactured motorcycles for a brief period from 1953 to 1960.
Following World War II, there was a high demand for economical transportation in Europe. Adolfo Orsi, who owned the Maserati car company, diversified his industrial corporation, and his sister Ida Orsi led the component branch, which was renamed Fabbrica Candele e Accumulatori Maserati (FCAM). In 1953, FCAM acquired the motorcycle manufacturer Italmoto and began producing motorcycles under the Maserati name, using the iconic trident logo.
The bike is in excellent condition, UK registered with V5.
