In 2001 Richard Burns and his co-driver Robert Reid won their first, and only, World Rally Championship title driving a Prodrive-prepared Subaru Impreza. In celebration of this achievement Subaru worked with Prodrive and the designer of the WRC car, Peter Stevens, to create a special-edition Impreza for the UK market, limited to 300 cars - the UK300. Impreza had by the early 2000s firmly established itself as a performance benchmark. Today, original and well-maintained examples are increasingly sought after by enthusiasts.
The Car:Registered in 2001, this Impreza WRX 300 is presented in the most desirable Subaru blue with gold alloy wheels, a combination synonymous with the model. The bodywork is described as exceptional, while the distinctive blue interior remains in very good order and reflects careful ownership.
The car has been with its last owner since 2015 and is only being offered for sale due to a lack of use. It is a genuine low mileage example, with the mileage supported by a checked MOT history along with accompanying paper MOT certificates, bills and invoices.
Mechanically, the Subaru is running and driving without fault and has clearly benefited from enthusiastic ownership in recent years. It will be sold freshly serviced and supplied with a new MOT.
The car is complete with its Subaru manuals, handbooks and stamped service book, further supporting its well documented history. Overall, this is a strong example of the WRX 300 UK Model, combining originality, condition and reassuring provenance.

Our example here is number 051/ 300 and is in fantastic condition. It has only travelled 59, 000 miles and comes with a comprehensive history file. Finished in World Rally Blue with a Blue Lux Suede interior, Impreza’s in this condition rarely appear and, with the cachet of the Richard Burns connection, it’s a must for any enthusiast or collector.
