Reluctantly selling this superb example of an Opal.
It was fully restored in 1975. In 2005 a new hood was put on and the doors refurnished to be authentic.
It has won 1st prize, in class, at the National Austin 7 Beaulieu event, and at the Bristol Austin 7 club rally.
It has been drvien by a lady for the past 6 years, taken to Ireland and recently to the Jersey Festival of Motoring. It did the Millennium London to Brighton Austin run.
It cruises comfortably at 50mph and does about 31mpg.
Some time before 1975 it had a 1937 reconditioned engine. There is a buff "log book" which shows the car was previously used in the Stroud area.
