Let’s be honest: BMW built really cool cars up into the early 2000s. Front and centre was the BMW Z3. A real roadster with rear-wheel drive, balanced weight distribution and, to everyone’s delight, an open top. For the introduction in March 1996, every Bond fan could order a Z3 for “only” just over DM 43, 000.
The magic of this vehicle lies not only in how Brosnan climbs the French switchbacks in GoldenEye, but also in its solid build, the honest-standard technology from the E36 shelf and the classically British design. Long hood, short rear, minimal overhangs – perhaps exactly the reason why an MI6 agent chooses a roadster from Bavaria. This Cabrio is a true driving machine for the then middle class.

Our exceptionally well-maintained BMW Z3 this time does not come from Spain, but from the tranquil Wehl. There we took the car from a true Z3 enthusiast who has always looked after it exceptionally well. Originally the Z3 was delivered by BMW in Lünen and then changed hands in modest increments. In total there are four owners, with the car having been in the last owner’s possession for over seven years.
The interior presents itself almost in annual car condition – everything feels young, fresh and high-quality. The paint shines and is fully original. The Z3 is in delivery condition, a particular highlight is the rare Motorsport package that the car had already before delivery in 1997 from the BMW dealer. This is verifiable by the original new-car invoice and makes this Z3 something very special.
Servicewise, everything has always been done. Before handing over to you we perform a fresh service, tyres and brakes are as good as new.
