A nicely presented example of a Francis Barnett 250cc motorcycle. We understand that this one was purchased by the previous owner requiring a complete rebuild. This work was carried out however, unfortunately, wasn’t quite finished meaning there are still a few small jobs to complete – primarily involving tidying the wiring up and running it in.
There is a V5C included however no further paperwork about the motorcycle’s history or rebuild. The engine number and frame numbers match the logbook and are visible.
It is a very presentable, early motorcycle with a good paint finish. It has been converted to 12v with a battery and a more modern electrical system. We have seen the engine running – it runs well with plenty of power. The speedometer is currently showing 0 miles, presumably as it is new and the bike has not been used since the rebuild was completed.
Overall, a great motorcycle which is close to being ready to enjoy and available for viewings at our showroom near Exeter.
