Freshly returned from Japan, this high specification, second-generation Freelander is now UK registered and ready to go.
The Freelander 2 formed an important part of the modern Land Rover line-up, offering a practical and refined compact SUV with strong road manners and everyday practicality. In GTDi SE specification, it combined a well-appointed interior with the 2. 0-litre Euro 5 petrol engine, delivering smooth performance and broad usability. Models exported to Japan were typically supplied with a high level of factory equipment and are often noted for their excellent preservation.
This smart example is finished in Loire Blue with a Black Matrix interior trimmed with almond contrast and complemented by nutmeg carpet, it has covered an indicated 51, 000 miles (82, 200km). The car is a 2015 model year however the date of first registration is September 2014.
Having resided in Japan from new, the car presents in excellent condition, commensurate with its low mileage and careful use. Coming from Japan and its salt free roads, the car has not suffered from the corrosion that an equivalent UK car would be vulnerable to and the bodywork, underside, subframes and brake lines are all in very good condition. Please note that this car retains its Japanese radio/ navigation unit, meaning the radio goes up to 91Mhz only and the navigation unit is configured for Japan. It does have aux and USB for straightforward phone connectivity, however, if desired, an original UK unit can be sourced for around £100 or, alternatively, aftermarket CarPlay/ Android Auto interface units are a popular upgrade and can be found for around £150.
