Launched in 1969, the Honda CB750 is widely considered to be the genesis of the modern superbike, its four-cylinder engine, front disc brake and electric start set a new benchmark in performance and reliability. UK-supplied examples are extremely rare, especially those with known early provenance
In 1979 the model was improved with a 749cc DOHC engine and revised bodywork
This, first year of production, DOHC example is presented in mainly original and mostly unrestored condition
Unused for a few months so will need recommissioning before use
Correct numbers and imported in 1991 from the USA
Still retains its 4-into-2 exhaust system
Finished in its correct colour of Pleides Silver Metallic
