1963 - Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Chassis n°the details below French collector's registration Full description: "Beautiful color combination, accompanied by its hard top". The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, produced from 1955 to 1963, is one of the most elegant roadsters of the post-war era. Inspired by the legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, it takes up its sporting spirit in a more accessible, grand touring version. Powered by a 105hp 1. 9-liter 4-cylinder engine, it offers a smooth, refined ride. With its well-balanced lines, star-spangled grille and meticulous interior, the 190 SL embodies the charm and savoir-faire of Mercedes in the 1950s. Our example was certainly registered in the USA on September 1, 1963. It arrived in France in 2016, and its current owner purchased it in 2019 for over €110, 000. It is presented today in good condition, complete with hard top. Featuring an elegant configuration, its cream bodywork has recently been repainted. Inside, the original red upholstery has a delightful patina, and is matched by matching carpets and door panels. Note the presence of a vintage Becker radio. This car has been driven very little since its purchase, but the exhaust, fuel pump and braking system have been replaced or restored. A brake distribution adjustment will nevertheless be necessary. In all, over €7, 000 has been invested in recent years. This 190 SL embodies elegance and refinement, and is ready to join a new collection.
