Description
Where do we start with this 1971 Suzuki T250 “Hustler”? Suffice to say that right now i wish i had a secretary as i hate this typing lark! Imported from Texas where the poor old thing had been left abandoned for so many years it was sun burnt and been left to get into a terrible state, but on the flip side there was no rust or rot. It had lost most of its chrome work and the fuel tank was doing a good impression of a Tetley t-bag where the old fuel had eaten it. Originally it was imported by someone we know, to break for parts but when i saw it, i felt sorry for it and throwing my cheque book out of the window, thought we can and will restore it. This decision was helped by the fact the engine was free and had great compression.
So we started from the front and worked backwards, replacing and repairing as we went. Now i can sit here listing things like “Its got new wheel spokes, rims, tyres blah blah blah” but to be honest that would take far to long, so best to give us a ring if your genuinely interested and we can go through it with you. Better still, come a see it and have a chat with a cuppa in your hand. Thanks. G
