Vehicle history:
This Puch 230 G was completed at the Graz plant on 22 June 1979. It served as a show car for the Steyr-Puch distribution region in the same year in Graz at an automotive show. The equipment was very comprehensive. This included, among other things, the swivelling spare wheel holder, headrests, premium interior, tow bar, clock, differential lock and much more. In 1980 the Aeschlimann AG from Sumiswald in Switzerland bought this vehicle and had the Puch registered with the plate BE 57719. The vehicle was cared for by the Schuhausgarage in Langenthal. The original service book shows numerous maintenance services. Twelve years ago a former Mercedes-Benz master bought this vehicle and restored it down to the last screw. More than €70, 000 and well over 1, 000 man-hours were invested in the 230 G. The engine was tuned for performance by increasing displacement to 2. 8 litres and a twin-carburettor. Today this Puch 230 G presents itself in perfect overall condition. As a 3-door Cabriolet it is the most sought-after variant.
