he above bike was built in the 1980’s to recreate as close as practical the character and sounds of the early Suzuki machines that came in first, second, fourth and fifth. In the 1963 Isle of Man TT races.
And is based upon the 50cc racing models brought to Great Britain in 1962 & 1963
The replica uses a one off hand crafted frame, tank, yolks, seat and mudguard and many period early 1960’s genuine Suzuki cycle parts. The GRP & Aluminium race fairing is taken from a 1960’s mould.
The engine is a modified piston ported 50cc M12 unit, taken from a 1964 Suzuki Sportsman and has had the following work carried out to increase its performance:
1. The barrel has been ported and gas flowed and a modified squish cylinder head with larger fins added to help cooling.
2. Mount on the barrel has been modified to accept a 22mm diameter dellorto down draught carburettor.
3. Crankcase has been packed to reduce excess volume.

5. Generator removed and points ignition by constant loss 6V battery.
6. 4 speed Gearbox has been fitted with strengthened output shaft.
7. A semi silenced expansion chamber type exhaust is fitted.

Stopping power has been improved
With the fitment of a 120mm front brake.
Hudson semi slick racing tyres aid high
Speed cornering ability.
