Description
The first Moto Morini was born in Bologna in the spring of 1946 and drew inspiration from the era’s best 125, the German DKW RT; it was the first new light motorcycle produced in Italy after the war and, presented at the Milan Show of ’46, was described by Motociclismo as “the success of the year.”
This rare and magnificent specimen *** frame no. 4520 has been registered in Piacenza in 1951 and still retains the three-page booklet and the original plates.
About a dozen years ago it was fully restored, in a professional and faithful-to-the-original manner, as you can see from the photos; recently it has been checked and prepared to be usable.
There are lists of the various purchase and restoration costs handwritten by the previous owner.
