Body / Exterior:
The model presented here is an ASTON MARTIN V8 Vantage 4. 3L from October 2006 in its original colour «Onyx Black» (matching colour).
The bodywork is in excellent condition, with no visible accident marks or structural corrosion.
The paintwork shows a deep shade and excellent gloss.
After a professional polish with a rotary machine by our workshop, we noted very light initial graveling on the front face.
The windscreen shows light graveling and two small chips.
The bumpers are correctly aligned and in good condition.
The rear bumper is equipped with the optional 'rear parking sensors'.
The original 19’’ wheels are in good condition despite minor scuffing around the front left rim.
The four MICHELIN Pilot tyres show wear of less than 40% at the front and 50% at the rear.
This example comes with its original puncture kit.
Among the exterior equipment and options fitted to this car, we noted: rear parking aid, 19’’ 7-spoke wheels and brake calipers in colour « Light Grey ».
Interior:
The interior has retained its strict original configuration and presents well.
The electrically adjustable leather upholstery in colour « Obsidian Black » with matching stitching is in excellent condition, with no snagging or sagging despite a slight patina from interior access on the driver’s side.
This car is fitted with heated electric seats. They are fully functional.
The leather door panels are in excellent condition.
We noted a small cut to the driver’s door seal and some signs of interior access / micro-scratches at the door sill.
The Alcantara headliner in « Light Grey » is taut and defect-free.
The dashboard and its leather cap in colour « Black » are in good original condition, except for a small leather stretch on the passenger side.
The central trim shows no cracks, scratches or distortion.
All original instrument cluster and comfort equipment are fully functional.
The steering wheel in micro-perforated leather shows no scratches or discolouration.
This car is equipped with cruise control.
The carpets in colour «Black» are in pristine original condition, with no wear marks or staining.
Among notable interior features this car is fitted with: electrically adjustable upholstery with matching stitching, heated seats, PREMIUM CD Audio System, Europe colour navigation and air conditioning.
Chassis:
Lifting the car confirms a sound shell with no visible collision marks or apparent structural corrosion.
The fundamentals – sills, floors, sills and wheel arches – are in excellent condition.
The flat undertray and rear diffuser show no cracks or deformations.
Usage reserve: by principle we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond their good visual and functional state validated on road test and ramp.
During the dynamic test we did not notice any abnormal drumming from the body or running gear (ball joints, bushings...).
Braking is balanced, stable and progressive, with no vibrations or unusual noises.
Front discs show 40% wear.
Front pads show wear under 20%.
Rear discs and pads show wear under 30%.
The pre-delivery technical inspection carried out by our workshop will confirm the overall function.
Engine / Transmission:
The original service book and available invoices show maintenance at an ASTON MARTIN dealer and from marque specialists (total: €21, 272).
The V8 starts promptly and idle is stable, as confirmed by the 360° video with the engine running at the start of the slideshow.
The road test confirms a block in very good health.
When up to temperature, the engine revs cleanly without hiccups or suspicious noises.
The six speeds of the manual gearbox shift smoothly with no issues, particularly around the synchros.
The grip of the clutch is good. It was replaced in 2012 at 42, 500 km (invoice available).
As with many older engines, engine/ gearbox seals are fair.
