Founded in 1907 by the DE LA CHAPELLE brothers in the Loire, then the cradle of French motoring, STIMULA – DE LA CHAPELLE is one of the few brands offering models developed entirely in-house from chassis to powertrain.
With a modern, lightweight design, they have enjoyed considerable success in hill climbs in particular.

In 1975, Xavier DE LA CHAPELLE, also a devotee of exceptional automobiles, decided to relaunch the eponymous brand by reproducing some of the greatest automotive myths including the BUGATTI Atalante 57S.
To ensure excellent reliability, DE LA CHAPELLE relies on BMW engine/ gearbox/ transmission hardware as a base.
Inside, the nobility of materials and build quality are also up to par: full-grain leather, walnut burl and aluminium are among the marque's standards.
In 2015, a small series was reintroduced to meet the demand of a few wealthy collectors: production is made to order and completely handcrafted according to client choices (colour and materials).
