In 2014, BMW Motorsport introduced the "M235i Racing" to broaden the base of customer racing. Having proven its high competitiveness and reliability in demanding races, including 24-hour endurance races, it attracted attention from privateers worldwide as a "package designed to win," and even participated in Japan's Super Taikyu series.
Its appearance is completely different from the commercially available 2 Series.
A dedicated widebody kit, widened by 90mm at both the front and rear, and a large, road-hugging splitter, along with the rear diffuser, are all built with functional beauty for the racetrack. At
its heart is a racing unit based on the N55 (3. 0L inline 6-cylinder turbo), with enhanced durability. The accompanying ZF 8-speed automatic transmission features a torque converter and stepped gear system with a race-specific program, combining paddle shifting with the robustness to withstand long hours of intense racing.
Looking further into the cabin, one can see the robust, FIA-approved roll cage, silently proclaiming that this vehicle was born for the racetrack, not the public roads.
However, the true value of this particular car lies not in its high performance, but in its "purity."
From delivery to the present day, it has never set foot on a racetrack, and has been carefully preserved in like-new condition with a mileage of only 300km.
It is a racing car that, while destined to be damaged in battle, still exists today, retaining the brilliance it had at its birth.
Currently, it only has a customs clearance certificate, and
the choice rests with the next owner who acquires this "pure white warrior": keep it hidden away in a collection, or finally break its seal and unleash it on the racetrack, its rightful home.
