The Bentley Continental GT was the first car released by Volkswagen AG after their acquisition of the company in 1998 and was unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, followed by appearances at Le Mans, the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the annual Bentley Drivers' Club meeting at Silverstone. The car differed significantly from the previous Continental R and T models in terms of its concept; although much of the car is hand-assembled, this Bentley was made in significantly larger numbers than previously. As a result, the price at launch was substantially less than the Continental R, thus exposing the car to a new and much wider market as a more affordable offering. The second-generation Continental GTC was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, followed by the 2012 Qatar International Motor Show, and could be had in W12 or V8-powered guises. The V8 is a 4. 0-litre twin-turbocharged engine, producing 500 bhp, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4. 7 seconds and reach a top speed of 188 mph.
Tastefully specified in special-order Onyx Metallic paint with a Black roof and Beluga hide upholstery, carpets and roof lining, this elegant GTC remains in lovely condition all round, having covered only 67, 600 miles from new. As an inspection will reveal, the paintwork and the interior would look good in a five-year-old car, never mind one which has just turned thirteen. The 20in. five-spoke alloy wheels enhance its styling, and its wider specification includes an infotainment system with iPod interface, front and rear parking sensors, power-adjustable front seats, a navigation system with Google Maps, an adjustable steering column, and a Bentley GPS tracking system. As a V8 model, it will deliver tremendous performance, but with somewhat better fuel economy than its W12 sibling.
The Continental was originally sold through Bentley Manchester and has been well maintained across its life, as evidenced by the nine service stamps (plus PDI). The first three services were performed annually by Bentley main dealers between 2013 and 2015, and the remaining six have been completed at regular intervals by independent garages. The car has benefited from around £1, 500 of expenditure since June, 2025, when the wheels were refurbished by AP Tyres of Rotherham. The most recent service was performed in March, 2026, at 67, 290 miles, and included new spark plugs, coil packs, filters and oil. Around the same time, the Bentley was submitted for a fresh MOT, which remains valid until March, 2027.
The ideal modern grand touring car for summer, this well-preserved Continental comes with equipment including the V5C, the leather book wallet, MOT history, two recent invoices, and two keys with tracker.
